Last year, I went on a fast that led me to seek God on a deeper level. I had been dealing with anxiety, having bad dreams, and even random thoughts of premature death. I prayed and sought God during that fast and the word that came up for me was idolatry. I had no idea what this meant for me… how could I possibly have idols in my life? Lord, nothing is more important than you. I asked to see more and He revealed it to me.

On this episode I open up about my journey to fame and how the Lord instructed me to set aside my desires and seek after his Kingdom. The things that we desire in life may not be the plans that God has set aside for us! We must learn to trust him more than ourselves!

Listen in as we explore the challenging yet transformative power of forgiveness, a subject often easier said than done. Join Megan Ashley as she shares personal stories and experiences, shedding light on the significance of releasing offenses and finding freedom through forgiving ourselves. In the episode, we refer to a powerful devotional by Jackie Hill Perry, which emphasizes forgiveness as a path to redemption and becoming a 'new creature'. We further illuminate the discussion by examining the story of Joseph from the Bible, who forgave his brothers despite their betrayal. In our quest to understand the complexities of forgiveness, we underscore the importance of letting go of the past and seeing ourselves through God's eyes to avoid falling into the trap of self-condemnation. The spiritual hindrance unforgiveness can bring and the barriers it can erect in our relationship with God and his promises. With references to David's angry words towards God, I encourage listeners to acknowledge their anger, release it, and choose forgiveness. This episode is a heartfelt call to healing and freedom through the power and necessity of forgiveness. Other topics you will hear: -Healing -Spiritual Growth -Resentment -Power of Forgiveness -Releasing Offenses -Freedom -Self-Doubt -Divine Wisdom

Today, we’re talking about how to trust God in the middle of a storm, similarly to how the disciples had to trust Jesus when they we’re on the boat with Him in the middle of a violent storm in Mark chapter 4. The truth is, most of us have really strong faith until we are faced with adversity and trials that are out of our control. Then, our faith and trust in God might start to waver a bit. Jesus probably looks at us and says “why are you so fearful? How is it you have no faith?” Just like He did to His disciples. (Mark 4:40) But we must remember that in all situations, in every circumstance, God is SOVEREIGN and Jesus is LORD and EVEN THE WIND AND THE SEA OBEY HIM. (Mark 4:41) We talk in depth on how to relinquish the desire to be in control and how to practically surrender to God. We touch on what it means to walk in the will of God and how determine His will for your life. We love you guys so much.
Jesus loves you more. -Ang & Ari
