COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY - NOVEMBER
Hello there and welcome BACK to another round of Community Bible Study with ACGW!
This month, we will continue studying JAMES Chapter 2.
PART 1:
From Nov. 1st-Nov. 15th
James 2:1-13 The Sin of Partiality
PART 2:
Nov. 16th-Nov. 30th
James 2:14-26 Faith and Works
HOW IT WORKS: We will read our study twice a day. You can choose the times you read or your own schedule. The assignment is read/studied twice a day NO EXCUSES. WE DO WHAT WE WANT TO DO because I know we're not going to act like that's too much or we're too busy for God? GOD FORBID. Look at it as you are taking time out of your day to hear from the Lord. THIS IS INTIMACY WITH YOU AND THE LORD.
I definitely encourage one of your times to be in the mornings as you rise. Set the tone for the day and start your day with Jesus whatever time you may rise. The Lord is already up waiting on us to make use of the breath and time he's given us all. BOTH ARE GIFTS that many don't get.
The purpose is to get this word in our spirits, our hearts so that we can grow in this area of study.
Our faith will be tested, tempted and tried. We will struggle more days than others. This is where perseverance, praying, pressing, and pushing through comes in.
The more WORD we ingest into our spirits, the stronger we will get in our trails and everyday battles. We are warriors not worriers. We are victorious, not victims. We are the head, not the tail. We are more than conquerors through who? CHRIST JESUS! We are children of God.
When you get bored, read your study. When you find yourself spending too much time on social media or watching tv, read your study. Tired? Read your study. On your lunch break? Read your study. Thoughts get to racing. Read your study. Feeling heavy in the spirit? Read your study? Old feelings and thoughts trying to move back in? Read your study. Here's the big one, after a long day and you are tired and can hardly keep your eyes open...READ YOUR STUDY. (That's the test right there)
Why? The word of God teaches us in 1 Corinthians 15:58 (AMP)
👉🏾 Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].
My siblings in Christ, don't waste any time. We are here. We are at a place where we must go deeper in every area while we can. Read while you can see. Listen while you can hear. Praise and worship the Lord while you have the activity of your limbs. WHY? Because you may not always have this chance. FEED YOUR SPIRIT. KEEP IT WATERED. PLANT AND WATER SO GOD CAN DO THE INCREASE!
